leanings ~ politically populist, left-wing and anti-war. Anything that requires critical thought and reduces degrees of separation between people.

interests ~ road biking, body surfing, technology; music; non-fiction; anything outside.

people i admire (in no particular order) – Stuart Brand, Ed Ricketts, Joseph Campbell, Willie Mays, Bill Moyers, Jeffrey Lebowski, David Byrne, Sheldon Brown, Finis Mitchell, Everett Ruess, Barry Lopez

what i want to do when i grow up – become a bicycling, technology-leveraging, gypsy; retrofit a classic airstream trailer (see el cosmico); restore a pre-’75 volkswagen camper bus; get off my ass and figure out how to start or participate in a social movement to reform our political “system”;  be a part of a society that isn’t dominated and controlled by money (thinking this may take a revolution, of sorts); work towards ending the obscenity of war; eventually end up in central oregon, on the spine of the cascades.
